Symbolist-inspired drawings illustrate this Hindu tale written by the two Gil Roesset sisters at the age of 12 and 14 respectively. About the cover : Binding : publisher's soft cover in illustrated parchment folder. Created when the artist was only 13, this was the frontispiece for the book "Rose des Bois" by her brother, Consuelo (published in 1923 by Plon, in France). Both Roesset children were prolific in the arts and linguistics. In her short life, Marga learned to draw, paint, and sculpt with a proficiency rarely seen in one so young.
