Charles Sorlier 1921-1990. Sorlier was head of the lithography department at Mourlot's. Artists such as Miro, Léger, Picasso and Matisse took their litho stones to Mourlot's to have them printed. Sorlier compiled a reliable ''catalogue raisonné'' for many of these artists and transferred their art onto litho stones. He was a wizard and an expert of lithographic techniques.
