| Mark King was born in Bombay, India in 1931 from British parents . Graduated from La Martiniere College in Calcutta where he specialized in Botany as well as art. He sailed for England in 1948, so he could attend Bournemouth College of Art, and then after committing to a career in art he moved to Paris to attend École des Beaux Arts . He lived in Paris and Italy during the early 60's where he worked on the effects of Light as other Impressionistic Artists had done before. He then moved to the US in 1968 . |
