Abraham Raimbach . Line engraver of genre, sentimantal and historical subjects after his contemporaries. Born in London, of a Swiss father, he was apprenticed to J. Hall and studied at the R.A. Schools. He is best known for his large plates after david Wilkie R.A., though he also engraved many book plates.
