Alain LE YAOUANC
France

(1940 - )
Breton artist Alain Le Yaouanc may be considered the last French Surrealist, with the strong influence of Max Ernst, though there are also elements of Pop Art in his style. He exhibited with Galerie Maeght in the 1970s. Our prints by Alain Le Yaouanc are original lithographs from this period. Other important exhibitions include the inaugural show at the Fondation Elsa Triolet-Louis Aragon in 1994, and a 1996 retrospective at the Château de Saint-Ouen. See: Aragon, Le Yaouanc, 1979.
