| A highly respected lithographer and etcher, Karl Schrag studied as the Ecole des Beaux Arts, Geneva (1931), the Ecole Nationale Superieure des Beaux Arts, Paris (1932) and at the Academie de la Grande Chaumiere (1931-1935). He then completed his education at The Art Students League, New York, when he emigrated to the United States in 1938. Karl Schrag became an American citizen in 1944. |
