| Charles Leonard was born in North Carolina and raised in Sarasota, Florida. He graduated cum laude from the University of Tennessee at Chattanooga and holds a Master's of Fine Arts Degree from the University of Georgia.
Mr. Leonard has exhibited his paintings and etchings for the past 30 years and is represented in collections throughout the United States, Canada, Western Europe, the Bahamas, South America, New Zealand and Japan. His work is included in several public museums in Georgia, as well as public universities and private commercial collections, and has been presented to officials of the former Soviet Union, Germany and Japan.
For the past 20 years, Mr. Leonard has concentrated his energy on the production of hand-colored and multicolored etchings. His work is marketed throughout United States, Europe and East Asian countries through a network of galleries, distributors and retail establishments. Mr. Leonard's work can be found in major trade markets in the United States, Great Britain, Germany and the Netherlands. |
